Waterfront Estate on Frenchman Bay

Tranquility is a 9.5 acre estate with access to 1000 feet of shorefront and private deepwater dock on Frenchman's Bay just 5 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.  Go beachcombing on our 2 private rocky Maine beaches with views across the bay to Schoodic mountain and Bar Harbor, or stroll one of the many nature paths along the shore through the  gardens and around 2 ponds.   

There's also bocce and a croquet court and large open lawns for your outdoor activities.  With a solid rental history on VRBO and Airbnb, we also have guests that return every year and book direct with us to save on fees.

The Gate House has an open living plan featuring a gas fireplace on the first floor, and another living area in the basement with a pool table.  Spend your afternoons and evenings on the new, large deck overlooking the sweeping lawn and gardens with peekaboo views of the Bay. The deck has a big table for outdoor family dining and comfortable chairs and lounges to relax on throughout the day. There is also a separate screened in patio to relax in with cozy reading chairs and a couch. 

The Gate House is one of three houses available on the Tranquility Estate with room to sleep seven and a playroom to accommodate children - 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 1 powder room, sleeps 7 with plenty of extra room for kids on futons.
